Standard A5, #40/#50, wide A5, skip-tooth A5 and D-Series cutters are not all interchangeable. A cutter does not change the cutting length of the fixed blade it is fitted to.

This stainless steel moving cutter replaces the worn cutter in the matching #40 / #50 A5 blade assembly. It is supplied pre-sharpened. Keep it clean, dry and lubricated to help maintain smooth cutting and protect it during storage.
The cutter is supplied pre-sharpened. Switch off and unplug the clipper, remove the blade and follow the fitting demonstration for #40 / #50 A5. Check alignment before use. If you are unsure about fitting or tension, stop and ask VUNRO or a blade-service specialist for help.
With the clipper switched off and unplugged, brush away hair and debris after use. Clean and lubricate the blade assembly according to its care instructions, then dry it before storage. Check blade temperature during grooming and allow cooling breaks when needed.
If the blade pulls or cuts unevenly after cleaning and lubrication, have the complete blade assembly checked. A blade-service specialist can assess the cutter, fixed blade, alignment and tension, and advise whether sharpening or replacement is appropriate. Stop using a cutter with damaged teeth.
Inspect the teeth for damage and check that the cutter is correctly aligned and securely fitted. Do not use a blade with bent, chipped or broken teeth. If the blade is loose, binds or pulls, stop and have it checked rather than applying more pressure.
Store it clean and dry in a protective case or its packaging, with the teeth protected from knocks. Keep it away from moisture and loose metal tools. Follow the blade assembly's lubrication instructions before storage.
Securely contain the sharp edges so they cannot injure anyone; do not leave the cutter loose in a bin. Ask your local waste service how to dispose of sharp metal parts safely.
